American DJ (b. 1957, Lance Taylor). A founding architect of hip-hop culture; founded the Universal Zulu Nation and helped codify hip-hop's cultural framework. His 'Planet Rock' (1982) with the Soulsonic Force fused Kraftwerk's electronics with funk to found electro.
