Toronto band fronted by English-born Mark Holmes, formed around 1980. Starting as a Police tribute act, they became 'the Duran Duran of the north' — one of Canada's biggest 1980s pop acts with Standing in the Dark and Alien Shores ('Crying Over You', 'Somebody Somewhere'), their glossy new-wave synth-pop second in sales only to Rush.
