Las Vegas act formed in 2004, eventually a Brendon Urie solo vehicle. Their debut A Fever You Can't Sweat Out ('I Write Sins Not Tragedies') fused emo-pop with cabaret theatrics; later records leaned into Urie's Queen-sized pop showmanship.
