Nicola Fago
Italy, 1695–1745
Italian composer and teacher (1677-1745), called il Tarantino. He ran the Pieta dei Turchini conservatory in Naples and taught Leo, Jommelli, Feo and Majo — a teaching line that carried the Neapolitan style into the next century.
