Marty Wilde

English singer (b. 1939, Reginald Smith), renamed by the manager Larry Parnes and put out as one of the first British rock and rollers. 'Endless Sleep' and 'Bad Boy' were hits; his band the Wildcats backed Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent on their English tours. He later wrote his daughter Kim's records with his son Ricky.
