Jamaican deejay, born Winston Sparkes (1940-2012), billed as the Ugly One after a facial deformity he made part of the act. Spotted dancing at Coxsone's Downbeat by Count Machuki and handed the microphone, he took the sound-system style onto record with 'Fire Corner' in 1969.
