South African duo of Ninja and Yolandi Visser, formed in Cape Town in 2008 and often produced by DJ Hi-Tek. Fusing hip-hop, rave and Afrikaans slang into their self-styled 'zef' aesthetic, viral videos for 'Enter the Ninja' and 'I Fink U Freeky' made them a lurid, cartoonish global phenomenon.
