Toronto duo Ethan Kath and (originally) Alice Glass, formed in 2003. Their abrasive, lo-fi electronic sound — circuit-bent Atari textures, blown-out beats and Glass's screamed-through-noise vocals — made them cult figures of late-2000s underground electronica.
