Jamaican roots-reggae singer Winston Rodney (b. 1945), introduced to Studio One by Bob Marley. Deeply spiritual, Marcus Garvey-inspired albums like Marcus Garvey (1975) made him one of roots reggae's most revered and uncompromising voices.
